Hi!
My name is Itzel Duran (pronounced it-sell) and I’m a 2D animator and illustrator based in the Chicagoland area. My work is predominantly digital made using Adobe software, however I enjoy making traditional pieces, using alcohol markers, pens, and mixed media materials. I’m currently studying illustration with a focus on animation at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, my portfolio consists of work that features strong line art and cool toned color schemes. My art has been featured in a local coffee shop and multiple exhibitions.
I gain inspiration from cartoons, anime, fashion, and alternative music with my biggest creative influences being Monster High, Steven Universe, and Jujutsu Kaisen. I aspire to make art that will motivate a new generation of artists the way these things inspired me!
